Always short handed. Had to request another check stand be opened. Our cashier didn't seem to happy about it. She never said a word to us. I even helped her bag the groceries. Still not one word. Living in a small town it's our largest grocery store so what are you going to do but shop there. I go for things I can't get somewhere else. I do not give them all my business.
Always a great place to shop. Fast friendly clerks, and easy self-checkout if you prefer to do it yourself. Fuel points are a plus! The produce department is the best in town, and they always have great sales. Plus they have a nice selection of gluten-free grains and flours, better than the nearby competition.
I really enjoy shopping at City Market. The employees are friendly and most all say "hello" I have shopped there for 16 yrs. and some even call me by name.
The deli food looks like it has been sitting there a a week. Bakery is always empty. Bread isle is empty. Chicken is always sold out. Shelves are bare. Sales items last the first 5 minutes. And the store manager is awful and mean. Stay clear of him (Ed).
Great service, amazing prices. Shop and compare Kroger brand against name brand items and you will not be disappointed. Fuel rewards save you big bucks at the pump!!!!
